Merlon Park has continual demand for horses of all types and may be commissioned to act as your sales agent. Fees for this service will vary subject to clients individual needs and marketing program.

To assist in obtaining the best possible price for your horse it would be suggested that a basic schooling & fitness program be undertaken before offering your horse for sale. Once completed a marketing campaign will be compiled in consultation with owners.

Experience has demonstrated that high exposure with good quality photos & on-line video is essential to obtaining the desired price within an acceptable time frame.

Schooling your horse is essential for any equestrian discipline, so getting it right is essential to the horse and rider's progression. We plan an individual program considering you and your horse's ability and desired result. As a minimum schooling should improve:
• Balance
• Suppleness
• Impulsion generation
• Lateral movement
• Obedience
We have a holistic approach to improving horse fitness with a gradual continuous improvement program. All horses undertake a conditioning program with continual individual assessment, which determines the variation in intensity, distance and type of exercise.
Our training is trust based designed to gradually build fitness and tendon, ligament, bone and muscle strength. This is achieved by incorporating both anaerobic and aerobic exercises. We would strongly recommended that horses be assessed by a veterinarian (should include X-rays, examination, visual assessment) at the beginning of the program to help ascertain the horses natural ability. Our on site veterinarian is at your service. Your horse is treated as an athlete with the programmed designed considering each horses naturally ability.

$44.00 per day (weekly in advance)
Merlon Park has experienced riders to campaign horses in eventing, dressage or showjumping for owners – call today to discuss your individual needs and expectations. All campaigning costs are additional to any other services.

Merlon Park has the services of an onsite veterinarian allowing the quickest possible response to any medical needs of your horse.   
As we take care of the details, all you need to do is turn up and get your content, healthy horse from their paddock and enjoy the facilities at Merlon Park.

To provide the safest possible facility for you & your horse Merlon Park will not accept Stallions or any horse that demonstrates aggressive or unacceptable behaviour.

Merlon Park offers short term agistment for those clients wanting a weekend away or an extended holidays & want holiday accommodation for their beloved horse.
