RXR Protect has developed the “Air Shock Absorber” (ASA), an exclusive patented system which encloses air in a honeycombed, inflatable, resistant and ergonomic structure. Applying this technology to equestrian sports allows us to offer a vest which has an optimum level of protection (level 3) and which, in case of impact, is capable of absorbing five times more energy than classic vests and eight times more energy than foam vests. Highly resistant, this microfiber vest is also both flexible and functional. Anti-microbial treated and breathable (it absorbs perspiration and moves it to the outer layer), RXR Horse guarantees riders comfort and hygiene – which means the vest can be worn under or over a garment, and even against bare skin.

Equipped with the best protection system on the market, the patented ASA (Air Shock Absorber) technology ensures maximum body protection and allows total mobility and comfort. The RXHorse vest has two inflatable valves (front and back) and an air pump, to allow you to easily activate its system. The vest fastens with Velcro closures and can be adjusted using the elastic side straps. The shoulders are reinforced with 10 mm-thick polyurethane foam. RXHorse was designed to ensure a level of shock absorption that complies with current safety standards ('EN 13158' and 'EN13158-2000-06').
The heart of RXR protector is its air-bladder and ASA technology. Its multiple inter-connected chambers allow air to pass back and forth between chambers through restricted air passages that absorb the energy from a fall or impact before it reaches your body. Clearly superior to the classic protection offered until now, with hard-plastics and foam, RXR protectors are providing the maximum protection in the horse sports market. For the tests, the products were placed on a table equipped with various sensors measuring the shock absorption and resistance capacities of the products. A strength/power of 12 KJ was applied, from different heights/angles, to the products and the results show that the A.S.A. system has 5 times more energy absorption/resistance than hard-plastic protectors and 10 times higher than foam-based products. Absorption time and distribution of the impact on the whole area of the product is clearly higher. ”

The body protector has been manufactured and tested using State of the Art technology to provide a level of shock absorbency in accordance with 'EN 13158'. It meets or exceeds 'EN 13158-200-06' (standard specification for body protector used in horse sports and horseback riding)
Level 1 : Minimum protection for professional jockeys.
Level 2 : Appropriate protection for low risk activities. This is the minimum protection for leisure horse.
Level 3 : Increased protection during leisure riding and competition. It is generally intended for people working with horses who are at risk of being kicked.

• The chest protector has lateral adjustable straps with handles and Velcro closures (10,000 life cycles).
• The use of Dry Clim fabric for the lining, making it very breathable and comfortable, gives more flexibility of use to the Swing chest-protector. It can be worn under a jersey - right over the skin and without the need of an under shirt - or over the jersey.
